Our lodge is located on the shores of Last Mountain Lake, which is North America’s oldest bird sanctuary.
With access to the most productive farmlands and the newest gear in front of you, we will make your dream waterfowl or upland hunt come true. There is a reason duck hunting, goose hunting, and sandhill crane hunting are so good with Saskatchewan Fowlers Outfitting: we are situated in the heart of the central flyway. Saskatchewan Fowlers Outfitting can provide the opportunity to hunt such a variety of waterfowl. Saskatchewan duck hunting doesn’t get much better when it comes to the selection of species we have it all; we have great numbers of mallards, pintails, northern shovelers, black duck, blue + green wing teal, and because we are lakeside, we have diver ducks like canvasback, redhead, golden eye, buffalo head, bluebills, and ring necks. At Saskatchewan Fowlers Outfitting, our goose hunting is very productive. We see large migrations of snow geese combined with good speckle belly numbers commonly. Seeing the tornadoes of snow geese come down on your spread is something every goose hunting trip should include, and we do it well. Canada geese are another exhilarating hunt we offer; the heavyweights are drawn to the big lake and can build up in big numbers. At Saskatchewan Fowlers Outfitting, we offer probably some of the best sandhill crane hunting in North America. Last Mountain Lake bird sanctuary was established partially due to the amount of sandhill cranes that migrated through. We call and decoy sandhill crane to land at your feet to provide you with a sandhill crane hunting experience that will never be forgotten.
If all of the amazing Saskatchewan waterfowl hunting has not worn you out, we also offer exceptional upland hunting. Our area has an extremely strong upland bird population, and with our pointing dogs, we can provide you with world-class wing shooting. Limiting out on a morning waterfowl hunt that's topped off with an afternoon of upland bird hunting is something unique to Saskatchewan Fowlers Outfitting.
Just when you think there can’t be more to offer, we highly suggest trying the same fishing on Last Mountain Lake. Last Mountain Lake is renowned as a trophy walleye lake, often ranked as one of the best trophy walleye Fisheries in North America. If you want to get that 30-inch walleye, add a cast-and-blast option to your hunting trip. You won’t regret it.
